The past week at SalesLoft is a great example of picking up all the scraps, making sure nothing slips through the cracks, and hustling hard for those few inches&amp;#8230;outside of normal working hours.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Straight off the Sunday a.m. flight from LaGuarida, &lt;a href="http://salesloft.com"&gt;SalesLoft&lt;/a&gt; founder, Kyle Porter headed back to his Tech Square apartment to send the last of his follow up emails to folks he and Lead Developer, Chris Beauregard, met while at &lt;a href="http://salesloft.com/3-Techstars-insights-from-an-Atlanta-startup"&gt;TS4AD&lt;/a&gt;.  Before the 3:30 p.m. start of the Patriots-Ravens game, SalesLoft&amp;#8217;s stalwart cleans up his slide deck for the next day&amp;#8217;s evening presentation to Atlanta&amp;#8217;s Executive Marketing and Sales Association (ESMA).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For me, it normally starts with an email from Kyle sent around 4:30 a.m. containing ideas and suggestions of ways we can improve the business and ends with a post-10:00 p.m. phone conversation of tomorrow&amp;#8217;s plans, demos, calls, important emails, events scheduled, etc. rounded off with reflections of ways we can improve the business. It&amp;#8217;s my third week as SalesLoft&amp;#8217;s, Sales and Marketing Executive; I&amp;#8217;m learning and hanging on as tight as possible to the SalesLoft Machine that&amp;#8217;s been revving full-steam for the past 4 and 1/2 months.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Monday&amp;#8217;s &amp;#8220;work day&amp;#8221; (software development, selling, and marketing) concludes early so Kyle and I can make our way to Perimeter&amp;#8217;s Ravinia - an office park just outside I-285 built in the early 90&amp;#8217;s as developers began shifting projects from downtown. A twenty minute sales intelligence presentation to 50+ sales and marketing executives and three hours later with a stack of new business cards, we find ourselves hankering for the internet. Luckily  the neighboring Twisted Taco stayed open til midnight and two hours after we arrived new prospects were in the database and a bevy of new action items added.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Leaving the office around midnight on Tuesday left an early wakeup call for DLA Piper&amp;#8217;s Venture Pipeline forum starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The forum conflicted with the Georgia Tech Career fair where SalesLoft battled with the likes of Bloomberg and other big tech companies for talent. After another career fair at the Art Institute of Atlanta, it was back to Georgia Tech to present for &lt;a href="http://twitter.com/mattstech"&gt;@MattsTech&lt;/a&gt;&amp;#8217;s, Technology Entrepreneur Society - a Georgia Tech student organization cultivating entrepreneurship. Thursday&amp;#8217;s work day concluded with a dinner at Fado in Buckhead just in time for very popular Ruby on Rails monthly meeting. In what&amp;#8217;s the closest thing to a monthly NBA All-star game for software developers, the best of the best organize to talk projects, companies, and software.&lt;/p&gt;
